//Directions//
The Black Swan, 438 Stapleton Road, Eastville, Bristol
//by car//
The venue is real easy to find. Take junction 2 off the M32 (Eastville
Roundabout), take the Fishponds exit and head up the hill for a few hundred
yards. Pass the Shell garage on your right and turn at the T-junction.
Head down Fishponds Road until the traffic lights at the bottom. The Black
Swan is just on the other side of the lights, on the right-hand side.
Basically, it's piss-easy; but if you want to check it on Multimap, click here.
//by bus//
Most busses will come into the main bus station, it's about a 35 minute
walk from there to the Blackswan or a cab should cost about a fiver. If
you're coming in on the Megabus we advise getting off at the Eastville stop (by Tesco, before the centre
of town) and then walking underneath the underpass (keep your wits about
you there if at night), it's less than a 10 minute walk.
//by train//
Temple Meads is a fairly hefty but doable walk, say 25 minutes. If you
don't want to catch a taxi (or bus to Stapleton Rd) then get on the local
train that will take you to Stapleton Road train station. The exit brings
you out within spitting distance of the Black Swan, ask the friendly locals
for directions!
